Sharon "Shari" Klimek

INDEPENDENCE – Sharon "Shari" Klimek, 53, of Independence, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. Shari was born January 13, 1959 in Whitehall to Everett and Verna (Marsolek) Klimek. Shari worked at Trempealeau County Health Care Center and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her mother, Verna Klimek; two brothers, Jim and Ron Klimek all of Independence; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her father. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
