Florence Severinski Gariepy

Florence Severinski Gariepy, 77, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Independence, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her home in Riverside. Florence was born February 25, 1935 in Independence the last of eight children to Joseph and Agnes Severinski. She married David Arthur Gariepy. Survivors include her daughter, LeAnn Baxter of Riverside, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jocelyn and David Baxter both of California; nieces and nephews in Wisconsin and a multitude of adopted children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace and Rev. Paul Breza officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Independence Food Pantry or SS.
