Adolph A. Kampa Jr.

Adolph A. Kampa Jr., 67, of rural Independence, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Adolph was born April 10, 1945 in Chimney Rock Township, Trempealeau County, to Adolph and Angeline (Sluga) Kampa. Survivors include three children, Robin (Lisa) Kampa of Independence, Timothy Kampa of Winona and Jessica Kampa of New Philadelphia, Ohio; a brother, Dennis Kampa of Independence; a sister, Shirley (Roger) Pronschinske of Sturgeon Bay; a granddaughter, Anita Kampa and three great-grandchildren, Kole, Xavier and Zandon. Adolph was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of services, followed by a rosary.
