Sara Mathson

Sara Mathson, 37, of Blair, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at her residence. Sara was born May 14, 1975 in La Crosse to Keith and Penelope (Weist) Mathson. She worked as a CNA in Wichita, Kan. and Trempealeau County Health Care Center. Sara loved caring for people. She was a Milwaukee Brewers fan and enjoyed country music, movies and playing cards. Survivors include a son, Logan Mathson of Blair; her parents, Keith and Penny Mathson of Blair; a brother, Kurt (Liza) Mathson of Greenfield, Wis.; a sister, Kara (Travis) Nehring of Greenfield, Wis.; nieces, Kelsey and Laura Nehring; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Blair Lutheran Church East (First Lutheran) with Rev. Barbara Bruneau officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Blair. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
