Richard Sonsalla

Richard "Rick" Sonsalla, 54, of La Crosse, formerly of Independence, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, La Crosse. Rick was born October 5, 1958 in Arcadia to Lawrence and Clara (Marsolek) Sonsalla. He graduated from Independence High School in 1977 and was an avid Packer fan. Survivors include a brother, Adrian (Stella) Sonsalla of Arcadia; three sisters, Marian (Joseph) Patzner of Eleva, Shirley (Richard) Galster of Arcadia and Bonnie Lyga of Whitehall; nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Patricia Sonsalla, Dorothy Nelson and Angeline Sonsalla and a brother, George Sonsalla. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with burial in the church cemetery.
