Sandra J. La Chance Schaefer

Sandra J. La Chance Schaefer, of Independence, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her home. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. to Henri and Rosalie La Chance. Survivors include her husband, Alan Schaefer of Independence; five children, Robert Knowlen, Susan (Russell) Bruns, Debra Dodds, Chris and Tim Pfeifer. Sandra will be greatly missed by her husband, Alan, and all that knew her. At Sandra's request, no public services will be held.
