Helen Marsolek

Helen Marsolek, 84, of Milwaukee, formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Village at Manor Park Nursing Home, Milwaukee. She was born September 2, 1928 in Trempealeau County, to Paul and Anna (Bautch) Marsolek. Helen was a graduate of Marquette University with a B.S. degree in Public Health Nursing. She was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Wood, Wis. until retirement. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Ruth Marsolek of Independence; nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Sarah Bautch, Anselm, Martha, twin sister Clara, John, Jim and Martin Marsolek. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until services at the church on Monday.
