Christy Steele

Christy Steele, 43, of Independence, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was born on February 25, 1971 in Eau Claire, to Gene J. and Betty (Brown) Marsolek. She married Tom Steele, September 28, 1991 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. She was a very loving wife to Tom and loving mother to their sons, Mike and Matt Steele. She cared very deeply for her family. She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Randy. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 23, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence.
