Judy Waldera

Judy Waldera, 66, of rural Strum, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. Judy was born September 9,1948 in rural Independence to Lyle and Agnes (Kwosek) Back. She married Daniel M. Waldera September 30, 1967 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence. Judy was the manager of Vitamin World in Eau Claire and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Daniel of Strum; two daughters, Dawn (Todd) Skovbroten of Menomonie and Nicole (Jay) Beebe of Chippewa Falls; sister, Mary (Loren) Ziegler of Galesville; brother, Doug (Susan) Back of Independence and five grandchildren, Reggie, Logan, Caden and Addie Skovbroten and Mikhaela Beebe. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Back. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 9, 2015 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, with Very Rev. Woodrow H. Pace officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery . Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. followed by a rosary, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
