Loretta G. Kamrowski, 92, of Winona, formerly of Dodge/Pine Creek area, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Sterling House of Winona. Loretta was born November 14, 1922 in Burnside Township, Trempealeau County, to John and Gertrude (Klimek) Miemietz. She married George Kamrowski. He died December 21, 1991. The couple farmed in Dodge/Pine Creek area. She was well known for her bread and coffee cakes. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek and the rosary society. Loretta is survived by four children, Edward (Rose) Kamrowski and Roger Kamrowski, both of Dodge, Rosemary (Dan) Bambenek and Carol (Scott) Jensen both of Fountain City; seven grandchildren, Kelly (Adam) Weisse, Kari Kamrowski, Katie (Jeremy) Braun, Matt (Angie) Bambenek, Tracy Bambenek, Aaron (Kristina) Jensen, and Colin (Amy Pearson) Jensen; eight great-grandchildren, Chase, Isabella, Madeline, Abby, Kinley, Jillian, Tucker and Avery; sister-in-law, Josie Miemietz of Independence. She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Edward, John and Ernest Miemietz and a grandson, Chad Kamrowski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.
