Peggy Lou Soppa

Peggy Lou Soppa, 62, of Waumandee, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System-La Crosse. Peggy was born May 8, 1954 in Whitehall to Rudolph and Lucille (Klumby) Kulig. She married Roger Soppa on June 1, 1974 at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. Peggy and Roger farmed in Waumandee and owned and operated Soppa Trucking for over 30 years. Peggy enjoyed crafting. Survivors include her loving husband, Roger of Waumandee; two sons, Brad (Melissa) of Cream and Benji (special friend, Brandi) of Bloomer; granddaughter, Addilyn Soppa; her mother, Lucille Kulig of Independence and a sister, Shelby (David) Blaschko of Independence. Peggy was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. No other services are scheduled.
