David J. Lewandowski, 65, of rural Independence, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at Gundersen Tri-County Hospital & Clinics, Whitehall.  Father of Thomas Lewandowski, Amy (Scott) Lewandowski-Peterson, and Lisamarie Lewandowski. Papa of Ryan Lepkowski and Ryana Peterson. Brother of Darryle, Douglas and Dennis. Survived by other family and friends. Preceded in death by parents John and Nancy, and brother Dale. Celebration of "Uncle Dave's" Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, at Pat's Oak Manor, South Milwaukee at 3-7PM. Internment in the spring in Union Grove.
