Barbara Ann Hill

Barbara Hill, 73, of Ettrick, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home. Barbara was born April 23, 1944 in Winona, Minn. to Ray and Eva (Probst) Scholl. She married Daniel Hill in April of 1965 in Alma. Barbara enjoyed growing green house plants and decorating “early” for all the holidays. She like teddy bears and was an Elvis fan. She loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include four children, Christine (Paul) Piechowski of Sparta, David Hill of Ettrick, Tammy (Shane) Hughes of Galesville and Kimberly (Harold) Johnson of Ettrick; a brother, Richard (Jane) Scholl of Cochrane; a sister, Teresa “TC” (David) Busch of Cochrane; five grandchildren, Rainey, Willow, River, Finn and Piper Piechowski. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mark Scholl. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Edison Funeral Home, Independence.
