Donna Mae Halama, 90, of Independence, died Thursday, April 9, 2026 at American Lutheran Communities Assisted Living in Mondovi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father George Thayilkuzhithottu officiating. Family and friends may call at the church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A complete obituary will be published soon.
