Randy A. Nelson

Randy Allen Nelson, 57, of Rock Falls, formerly of Eleva, died on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in rural Arkansaw. He was born on January 16, 1961 in Eau Claire to LaVerne and Ardys (Oium) Nelson, Sr. He grew up in the Eleva area and attended Eleva-Strum High School. Randy is survived by his mother, Ardys Nelson of Osseo; three brothers, Dennis Nelson of Spring Valley, Wayne (Melita) Nelson of Mondovi, and Bryan (Laurie) Nelson of Arkansaw; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, LaVerne Nelson, Sr., brother, LaVerne Nelson, Jr., sister, Yvonne Bue, and two great-nephews, Christopher John Schmidt, Jr., and Isaiah Robert Riggen.Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Evanger Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Independence.
